I'm a licensed therapist and the owner of Driftless Therapy Solutions. I provide telehealth therapy for adults and couples across Minnesota, with a focus on anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and intimacy.
Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm, straightforward approach — and that sessions can include both real depth and a little humor. Healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time.
I draw on several evidence-based approaches depending on what you're working through — always adapting to what actually helps you move forward.
A goal-oriented approach that focuses on your strengths and what's already working. Rather than dwelling on problems, we identify practical steps to move forward and create real, sustainable change.
A skills-based approach for managing intense emotions and building healthier coping strategies. DBT helps you find balance — accepting where you are while actively working to change what isn't serving you.
A structured approach to identifying and shifting the thought patterns that keep you stuck. By challenging unhelpful beliefs, you gain more control over your emotional responses and daily experience.
No single approach works for everyone. I blend methods based on what you need — bringing empathy, respect, and a practical focus to every session, whether it's your first or your fiftieth.
I earned my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2010, and since then I've worked across a range of settings — community mental health, local government agencies, and private practice. That breadth has given me a grounded, flexible perspective on what actually helps people change.
I started Driftless Therapy Solutions to offer something I believe in: quality mental health care that's accessible, convenient, and genuinely personal. Telehealth allows me to serve clients across all of Minnesota, including in rural areas where in-person options are limited.
When I'm not in session, I'm rooted in southeastern Minnesota — the rolling hills and river valleys that gave this practice its name.
